This 21-year-old Japanese girl is the always-stylish-and-cool Ayaka. She’s a student at Bunka fashion college and a staffer at the cutting-edge Harajuku boutique DOG. We see Ayaka around Harajuku often, and she’s immediately recognizable as one of the few Tokyo girls with a shaved head. You might also recognize her as the cover girl of the March 2011 edition of FRUiTS Magazine.
Ayaka’s outfit here includes a vintage/used pink text-print top (which appears to say “Gucci” all over it) that she picked up at the UTA resale shop in Shimokitazawa, vintage photo-print high-waited skinny pants from DOG Harajuku, a corset belt, a patterned hat with a large turned-up brim and cherries on it (also resale), and vintage feathered slingback pumps from UTA. Her “Cheap & Chic by Moschino” shoulder bag was also picked up used at UTA.
Ayaka told us that her favorite shops are Dog Harajuku and UTA in Shimokitazawa.
