Here’s someone who many of you will recognize right away – it’s Maro! Maro is 20 years old and he is both the drummer for the Japanese rock band Broken Doll, and one of the designers for the Japanese fashion brand Broken Doll. This weekend, Maro & Broken Doll will be at the Pop N Cute party in Tokyo.

Maro is wearing a colorful outfit that he handmade himself which mixes elements of traditional Japanese kimono with modern kawaii, punk, and bits of Maro’s own fun personality. In addition to the handmade items, Maro’s bag is from Broken Doll and his traditional wooden geta sandals are borrowed from his grandfather. His spiked purple and pink hair add to the look as well.
