Harajuku Halloween Costume Street Snaps 2013

Tokyo is in the mood for Halloween! It’s the last weekend before the scariest holiday of the year arrives, and that means lots of costume parties around town, special events, Halloween sales, and more. While out doing street snaps in Harajuku on Sunday, we met lots of people in the Halloween spirit. In addition to the fun atmosphere on the streets, we also got a lot of free sweets. The roaming bands of costumed Harajuku kids are kind of reverse trick-or-treaters – they dress up in costume and hand out candy to non-dressed up people!

We took a few snaps of the Halloween-ready people who we met on the street in Harajuku on Sunday to share with all of you! We also did a bunch of Halloween snaps in Shibuya, which we’ll be posting soon (check back). Happy Halloween everyone!
