Heavy Metal Fans w/ White Zombie & Nightmare on Elm Street Tees

Here are two heavy metal fans that we photographed in Harajuku. On the left is Nina, a 20-year-old student. She’s wearing cutoff jean shorts and a White Zombie t-shirt – both from used clothing stores. She’s carrying a JanSport backpack and wearing Dr. Martens boots.

The girl on the right with partially shaved hair and a studded choker is Nanao, a 20-year-old self-described furita. She’s wearing a Nightmare on Elm Street t-shirt with a short black skirt that she bought used. She’s also wearing shredded black stockings, buckled boots from Demonia and a studded leather backpack.

We asked the girls about their favorite places to shop and Nanao said she likes gothic-style fashion shops. When we asked about their favorite music. Nina said she likes Aerosmith, Rob Zombie, Nirvana and The Runaways; Nanao named Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson
