Mayupu’s Cutoff Shorts & Emoda Platform Shoes in Harajuku

Here’s a friendly & stylish English-speaking Japanese high school student named Mayupu who we have run into around Harajuku several times over the last year. Mayupu is really sweet, so we’re always happy to see her.

Mayupu is wearing a lace top that she got from “Hawaii”, denim shorts that she picked up from a resale shop, pink thigh-high net stockings, and platform shoes from Emoda. Accessories – some of which came from Betsey Johnson – include a flower hairclip, a flower ring, a large heart ring, and an LV handbag.

Mayupu’s favorite shop right now is American Apparel. Her favorite musicians include the 1990s girl rockers Hole and Babes in Toyland. Mayupu speaks English, so if you’re interested in her fashion – or in Harajuku fashion in general – you might want to follow her on Twitter.
