Pink vs. Blue Hair, Mikio Sakabe, 5okai & Cotton Candy in Harajuku

Mikako and Kinoko Pink are both well-known personalities in the Harajuku street fashion scene. We caught them together after dark in Harajuku – both with colorful hair and cotton candy!

Kinoko Pink – with pink hair and pink cotton candy – is an indie fashion designer and Bunka Fashion College student. He’s wearing a graphic 5okai top with Facetasm shorts and retro Nike sneakers. Accessories include a pink & yellow pompom beanie, an armband, and a colorful Nike backpack. Kinoko Pink’s favorite shop is 5okai and you can find him on Twitter or Instagram.

Mikako – with blue hair and green cotton candy – is wearing layered print, sheer, and net tops, at least one of which is from Mikio Sakabe, and one of which features cat print. Her graphic pants are by Rene and her platform sandals are k3 & co. Accessories – some of which came from Omocha – include a choker, a beanie that matches the one Kinoko Pink is wearing, a clear Keith Haring tote bag, and a Jeremy Scott net backpack.
