Tokyo Fashion Students in White w/ Kawaii Pastel Accents

Riko and Yui are two Bunka Fashion College students whose choice of a nearly all-white color palette – with touches of fairy kei pastels – caught our attention in Shinjuku.

Riko is the one to the right, with braided hair and bows. She is 18 and she’s a fan of the Japanese idol group Passpo. She is wearing a cable knit sweater from Kastane over a scallop collar blouse from Nile Perch and a handmade skirt. She’s got a tote that reads “kiss”, also handmade, and pink gingham canvas sneakers by Panama Boy, which she wears with lace socks and white tights. Her lilac earrings are heart shaped and her nails are painted in pastel. Riko pinned an oversized Katie badge to her sweater, as well as two candy brooches, and she’s wearing two romantic rings. Yui is the girl with shorter hair and round, oversized glasses. She’s 19 and she’s wearing a entirely resale outfit. She’s got a white shirt with an organza skirt and a pastel pink handbag. She’s wearing white canvas sneakers with tie-dye socks and white tights. She accessorized her hair with a cute blue plastic bow.
