Colorful & Fun ACDC Rag “Pop” Girls in Harajuku

Here are two fun Japanese girls we ran into between LaForet and Takeshita Dori in Harajuku on New Year’s Day 2012. We were out shooting photos for our upcoming fukubukuro article, but these girls’ outfits were so bright and colorful that we couldn’t resist asking them for a few quick snaps. Luckily, they were both extremely friendly and agreed!

Both of the girls are wearing colorful patterned hoodies and matching sarueru (drop crotch) pants from the well-known Takeshita Dori brand ACDC Rag. According to the ACDC Rag website, the pattern for these sets is called “POP”. The sets are featured in the 2012 issue of the Japanese fashion magazine Egg. To compliment the ACDC Rag outfits, the girls are also both wearing black boots, glasses, headbands, and lip rings.
