Big Glasses Girl w/ Cute Hair & Makeup in Harajuku

This is Comari, who we met in Harajuku. She’s a 19-year-old beauty school student whose super cute look caught our attention right away!

Comari’s outfit includes a vintage-print button-up shirt that she purchased resale tucked into resale denim shorts, floral socks, and platform sneakers. Accessories include her awesome big glasses (big enough to allow her blush to be seen through them), several pink hair bows, an earring and ring from Macaroni Marico by Yasuhito Nakazawa, and a vintage leather handbag. The red color of her hair and her doll-like makeup are also key elements of her look

When we asked Comari about what she likes, she said that her favorite place to shop for fashion in Tokyo is The Virgin Mary and her favorite music is by the Japanese punk band Ginnan Boyz. If you’d like to know more about Comari, she has a Japanese language blog here.

    This is one of my favorite street snap shots I have EVER seen. I wanna see more of this girl..Super interesting. She was on Shiftsnap or RID a few weeks ago wearing the exact same thing. Interesting! I guess she’s not shop staff or anything…Maybe she doesn’t live so close to Harajuku? I hope we see more of this girl and her amazing style!

    Lactose Intoler-Art – Yeah, I was impressed with her look too. BTW, when the rainy season starts, we (like most other street snap sites) run some recent snaps that haven’t been published yet. So, if she’s wearing the exact same outfit, it could be from the same day. During rainy season here in Tokyo, it’s pretty much impossible to take photos on certain days. :-)
