Bright Colored Hair & Light Colored Fashion in Tokyo

This Japanese guy and girl were photographed in Harajuku. The guy is 18 years old and the girl is 19. Both of them said that their outfits came from vintage/resale shops. His outfit is pretty simple – consisting of a blue hoodie, button-up shirt with a tie printed down the front, jeans, and sneakers. The girl’s outfit is a bit more extreme – starting with her colored hair and multiple earrings, and continuing on to the white layered knit/net top, paint-splattered miniskirt, over-the-knee socks, and black boots. The vintage-looking cord necklace that she’s wearing is in a style – rope/knot/cord/tassels – that seems somewhat popular in Harajuku right now.

As far as music, the guy told us that Asian Kung Fu Generation is one of his favorite bands.
