On Friday, March 16th, Japanese label Factotum showcased their 2012-13 Autumn/Winter collection on the runway at Spiral Hall.
Factotum is a menswear label launched in 2004. The brand is known for its military and working man influenced styling. Factotum’s creator Koji Udo is a graduate of Tokyo Mode Gakuen. After college, he worked for Beams Ltd., studied in London, and – with Manabu Yaegashi and Tatsuya Togo – launched the Lounge Lizard brand before creating Factotum.
The Factotum 2012-13 A/W collection presented at Tokyo Fashion Week featured wearable menswear shown against a snowy woodlands backdrop. The theme of the collection was “Sky at Night From the Cabin”. Most looks were built around a warm classic outdoorsy coat, jacket or sweater.
