Faux Fur Street Styles in Harajuku w/ Kawi Jamele, DYOG, Never Mind the XU, Kol Me Baby, Faith Tokyo, Gallerie & Oh Pearl

Meet Juri and Taso, two Japanese teens whose colored hairstyles and cool streetwear looks easily grabbed our attention on the Harajuku street.

At the left is purple-haired Taso, a 19-year-old beauty school student. He is clad in a purple snakeskin print jacket from DYOG, which he layered over a purple furry jacket from Kawi Jamele and a white t-shirt. He tucked in his shirt into black faux leather Zara shorts with a ribbed waistband and safety pin embellishments. He wore his shorts over black tights, and he slipped into black knee-high lace-up suede boots from Never Mind the XU. Accessories – mostly from Faith Tokyo and Gallerie – include a grey mask, black hoop earrings, a diamond stud, a studded leather choker, layered silver chain necklaces, a black leather double grommet belt, a silver o-ring chain belt, leather finglerless gloves and clear chain trims. Kawi Jamele is Taso’s favorite fashion brand, and he likes the music of Miriya Kato. Taso is active on Twitter and Instagram.

Meanwhile, Juri – sporting an aqua bob – is dressed in a white furry coat from Kawi Jamele, worn over a yellow turtleneck top and layered with a black bralette with mesh top from H&M. A zebra print zip-up skirt from Kol Me Baby, black thigh-high socks, and a pair of black leather knee-high lace-up boots from Never Mind the XU completed her chic style. The 19-year-old beauty school student embellished her look with accessories – from Oh Pearl and Gallerie – such as a “SEX” rhinestone choker, layered silver kanji necklaces, belt layers consisting of a black grommet belt, an o-ring chain belt, and a chain belt with dangling trims, and silver knuckle rings. Juri loves to shop at Oh Pearl and Never Mind the XU, and she is also active on Instagram.
