Harajuku Guy & Girl Wearing Hats, Buttons & Boots

Here are a Japanese guy and girl we met one evening in Harajuku. There was something about the way they matched their outfits – without actually matching their outfits – that made us want to photograph them.

They are both wearing hats and buttons. She’s wearing a bright red beret, and he’s wearing a bright red Burger King logo t-shirt. They are both wearing light jackets open over hoodies. They are both wearing black bottoms (he, skinny jeans; she, skirt & leggings). She’s wearing green boots with black laces. He’s wearing black boots with green laces. It’s like stealth pair look!
