Harajuku Hippie Style Street Fashion

These two friendly hippie style Japanese people were photographed on Cat Street in Harajuku during the middle of summer 2009. Their outfits look a bit warm for summer, but they are pretty well protected from the scorching Tokyo sun. On the left we have a large scarf over a t-shirt, harem pants, and flip-flops. On the right we have a colorful headband, several layers of tops, wide leg pants with a sewn-on flower pattern, and braided sandals. They are both carrying bags that look hippie-inspired as well.
