Harajuku Visitor Center “Moshi Moshi Box” Opens

On December 25, 2014, a new visitor center opens in Harajuku. The new “Moshi Moshi Box” is a joint project between the Shibuya Tourism Association and Harajuku Shop Association. The visitor center is located on Meiji Dori directly across the street from the end of Takeshita Dori, where the old Birkenstock shop used to be. The location has been renovated for the launch of the new project with the front of the building featuring a large world clock created by Sebastian Masuda of 6%DOKIDOKI.

Moshi Moshi box will offer the following services for tourists:

  • Helpful Information and Advice
  • Maps and Guides
  • Free WIFI
  • Laptop Recharging and Power Plugs
  • Money Exchange and ATM
  • FedEx Shipping of Packages
  • JTB Travel Agency Bookings
  • Gift Shop
  • Crepe Stand

The Moshi Moshi Box will be open from 10am to 6pm every day. To find it, just walk down Takeshita Dori until you reach Meiji Dori, cross the street, and look directly to your left. You can’t miss the brightly colored world clock on the front of the building. The official website is here.
