Kimono-inspired Gothic Fashion, Purple-streaked Hair & h.NAOTO in Harajuku

Meet Ruru, a friendly 18-year-old Japanese college student who we street snapped in Harajuku. Ruru’s purple-streaked hair & kimono-inspired gothic fashion stood out when we spotted her walking down the street.

Ruru is wearing a pretty remake (remade/customized from an existing piece) kimono-inspired jacket with a huge bow over a fishnet top that she bought in Harajuku, a skirt from h.NAOTO, striped stockings, and chunky loafers (also purchased in Harajuku). Accessories include several earrings and a rose ring (all purchased at Claire’s), a plaid choker, and a spider web-shaped purse from h.NAOTO.
