Mitake’s Mark Ryden x Nagi Noda “Broken Label” Dress in Harajuku

Here is a stylish and creative Japanese girl who we’ve been street snapping for a couple of years now – and who has been featured many times in Kera Magazine. It’s the one-and-only Mitake! We were extremely happy when we spotted Mitake crossing the street near LaForet Harajuku.

Mitake is wearing a stunning dress from Broken Label – the hard-to-find brand that was a collaboration between the American artist Mark Ryden and the late Japanese artist Nagi Noda. The artwork on the dress features Mark Ryden’s signature big-eyed girls, as you can see in the closeups. Besides the beautiful Broken Label dress, Mitake is also wearing a hat covered in bows, Vivienne Westwood gloves, tartan stockings, and red suede wedges.

If you’d like to know more about Mitake, you can follow her on Twitter.

I didn’t know about that Mark Ryden collaboration, but I’m not surprised. I always thought his art should be appreciated in Japan… :P
