Resale & Remake Fashion, Bob Hairstyle & Snoopy Watch in Harajuku
Here’s a 16-year-old Japanese student told us that her name is “38” (which can be pronounced “Saya”). 38’s cute resale-meets-handmade outfit caught out eye right away when we spotted her on the street in Harajuku.
38 is wearing a yellow top that she bought used and then cut up and tied in knots over a blue resale top, a long pink gingham skirt from the Tokyo resale shop Thank-You Mart, and blue plimsolls. Accessories – which she picked up at flea markets – include a Snoopy wristwatch, a colorful string bracelet, and a canvas bag from Hollywood Ranch Market.
38 told us that her favorite place to find fashion is Harajuku’s popular resale shop Panama Boy. If you’d like to know more about her, check out 38’s personal Twitter.
