Robot Luv x Palmer Japanese Sneakers
Today, we want to share with you some info and pictures on a brand of cute funky sneakers for women that are only available in Japan.
The shoe brand is Palmer, and the line of sneakers are called Robot Luv x Shaun Palmer. Tokyo Fashion couldn’t help but notice a nice looking two page promo for these shoes in the latest issue of Zipper magazine.
The brand “Palmer” is licensed to a Japanese company by the famous snowboarder Shaun Palmer. Robot Luv is the brand name of the American artist and designer Carrie Masters. So, these sneakers are a three way collaboration between Shaun Palmer, Robot Luv, and the Japanese shoe and fashion company Life Gear.
The above image is a promo for the shoes and the image below shows you some of the available models in a little more detail. You can see even better photos of the shoes at the official site of the brand in Japan (linked below).
The shoes are women’s hightop models in various bright and pastel colors, covered in cute (or kawaii if you prefer) illustrations by Robot Luv. The sizes run from 22.5 cm to 24.5 cm and the prices are all between 7980 and 8715 yen (about US$80-$90) per pair. The shoes are available exclusively in Japan at Shoe Plaza, SPC, and Shu Paletta.
Update: The article about Robot Luv linked below says that the shoes may eventually be available in the United States, but for now they are limited items available exclusively in Japan. So, if you want to be the only kid on your block with some funky cute Japanese girls sneakers, maybe check these out.
