Shironuri Artist Minori & Her Pink-Haired Shironuri Friend in Harajuku

When we met Japanese shironuri artist Minori in Harajuku, she introduced us to her friend Amanda from Finland. On this day, Minori had styled Amanda’s shironuri look and they were wandering around Harajuku together.

Minori and Amanda, both with pink hair, are wearing fashion that is a mix of vintage, handmade, and remake pieces – all put together by Minori. Please look at the closeup shots to see Minori’s detailed makeup work around each of their eyes.

    I am from Finland and it’s weird to see a finnish person in this context. Kind of disappointed that Amanda’s lastname or any social media aren’t goven here..

    @Paula – Sorry about that! Amanda only gave us a Facebook name, and the FB account appears to be private (as well as there being several people with the same name) so we didn’t publish it. If we find out more contact info, we’ll add it!

    @Rene – That you! There are several different people taking pics, but these photos (and most night shots) are taken with a Nikon D800 and the Sigma 35mm F1.4 lens. That lens is also available for Canon DSLRs and it’s very well priced!

    Minori’s art always amazes and inspires me! She is so wonderfully talented! Ahhh, both looks are so beautiful. So much lovely detail! And the color palette is so ethereal! *swoon* LOVE!
