Tattoos & Vivienne Westwood Love In Tokyo

Tokyo street style photo taken in the hot summer of 2009.

This cool Japanese guy and girl were photographed on Cat Street in Harajuku. The guy – who is quite tall by Japanese standards – is wearing a headband, gray v-neck shirt, skinny black acid wash jeans, a black belt with a large Vivienne Westwood belt buckle, and toe loop sandals. His accessories include a large black leather handbag, a large bracelet, and a white door key bent into the shape of a ring. He also has several tattoos – large colorful feathers coming out of the sleeve on his left arm, and a bit of text peeping out of his shirt. The visible part of his chest tattoo says “Flying…for…” and is written backwards.

The girl in the photo dons a fringe-covered vest over a long tight white t-shirt, distressed denim short shorts, and simple black flip flops. Her blue, red, yellow, and beige leather handbag is by Vivienne Westwood. They are both carrying shopping bags from H&M Harajuku. When we took the above photo, they were holding the bags in a way that turns H&M into MH& if you look at them together.
