Comme des Garcons Furry Vest & Platform Loafers

This cool Harajuku guy in a long black furry vest from Comme des Garcons is 23-year-old Macaulay. Under the vest is a black cable-knit sweater with extra-long sleeves. He’s also wearing pants and loafer shoes with a slight platform from Comme des Garcons, which he said is his favorite fashion brand. His black handbag with gold metallic accents is also from CDG.

Macaulay’s bright green socks add a nice touch of color, but he didn’t mention where they came from. Large sunglasses and a cowl scarf complete his look.

    Heh, I’ve been wearing an all-black wardrobe with bright green socks every day for over 20 years now, and I did once carry a purse for many years as well, albeit in the vertical-rectangle style characteristic of European men’s purses. Nice to see someone else sporting their own spin on my look for a change. ^_^

    RU kidding me PEOPLE! There is nothing COOOOL about his obvious SECOND-HAND clothes from a thrift store. And it is NOT COOL, wherever in the world you are from, 4 a GUY (if thats what he is) 2 carry a PURSE!

    @Startist-Where are you from? The main part of his outfit is Comme Des Garcons, which is DEFINITELY not thrift store…Actually its more of a high fashion brand, I’m assuming the fur vest was at least 40000 yen if not more. (Probably over 450 USD).
    Japanese fashion is amazing because they are not always considered with looking too trendy and just like everybody else. Brands like Comme Des Garcons are somewhat representational of a Japanese label that understands that you can take something not obvious or conventional and turn it into a unique and high end look.

    Frankly I’m glad this isn’t Italy, French, Canadian, or American street fashion. This guy rules.

    And sorry, I didn’t mean that last comment to be negative towards other cities, I’m American as well, and I could see this style to be in Paris or Italy, but in general I just don’t like it when people outside of Tokyo judge avant-garde styles because they don’t fit the cookie cutter idea of what fashion SHOULD be.

    Woaaaa!!!! que cool esta esto me gusta su estilo, nunca se veria super genial como a el en mi :( Las calcetas estan super genial. Tengo unas parecidas pero verde mas oscuro.
