Harajuku Girls w/ Sailor Uniform Top, Rocking Horse Shoes & Animal Backpacks
Here are two fun 17-year-old Japanese high school girls that we spotted in Harajuku. They’re wearing matching (black vs. white) rocking horse shoes and cute animal backpacks.
On the right is Soyomi. Her outfit includes a purple fringe-adorned unicorn dress from the Tokyo resale shop Santa Monica and white rocking horse shoes that she purchased on Takeshita Dori (she didn’t name the shop, but maybe Body Line). Accessories include a white wooden cross necklace and earring from Nadia Harajuku, ruffle socks, a spiked bracelet from Monomania, and a panda bracelet from Village Vanguard. Her bag choice is a cute plush panda backpack.
Soyomi’s favorite shops include Nadia, Spank! and Monomania. Her favorite bands are Tommy Heavenly and the K-Pop boy band SHINee. If you’d like to know more about Soyomi, please check out her blog Darkly Gothic Fantasy!
On the left is Mizuki. She’s wearing a sailor school uniform style top that she picked up resale, a vintage-print skirt from Harajuku’s Bunkaya Zakkaten, and black rocking horse shoes (from the same shop as Soyomi) with ruffle socks. Accessories include a large strawberry badge/brooch from Bunkaya Zakkaten, a red belt, a red ribbon hair bow, and a plush animal (dog?) backpack.
Mizuki’s favorite shop is Nadia Harajuku and her favorite music is by the Japanese rock band Shinsei Kamattechan. If you’d like to know more about Mizuki, she posts about fashion on her personal blog.
