Japanese Guy in Vintage Print Jacket & Toile Pants

This 18-year-old guy who we met in Harajuku shows how vintage and resale clothing items can be put together to make a very one-of-a-kind fashion statement. Kasuke is wearing a vintage pop-art print jacket with relaxed toile print pants. A warm gray scarf with black fringe is around his neck and another gray scarf wraps his head. Kasuke’s bag is made from a classic twill tweed fabric. All of his clothing items, including his bag and black leather shoes, are from the resale shops.

Kasuke’s favorite shops/brands are Dog, Kinsella and Mikiri Hassin. He likes the music of Ginnan Boyz.

  1. In the first picture he looks a bit like Akanishi Jin..
    Love his outfit :)

  2. He’s sort of a vintage fabric warrior – I love it. The bag, scarf, and headscarf are a perfect match for the jacket and trousers.

  3. Wow! I love this. Its very relevant to what’s on the streets right now in Tokyo I think..Gives me a Keisuke Kanda/Nozomi Ishiguro style kind of feel, but all used/vintage is great! I wonder if the pants are of a newer used brand, inspired by vintage fabric? I just can’t think of an era where pants like that were popular..Maybe the 70’s but the fit isn’t very 60s/70s..

  4. his whole look makes me want to embrace him… he looks soooo warm to cuddle with xDDD
