Japanese School Uniform-inspired Harajuku Street Fashion
Here’s a fun Japanese couple, wearing matching white creepers, who we ran into in Harajuku. We previously photographed them this spring in Shibuya, also wearing their white creepers.
The wavy-haired 23-year-old guy on the left is a self-described “furita”. His outfit consists of a tie-dyed shirt with kanji on it, leopard print shorts from Homeless Party, socks with stars, and white creepers. His accessories include thick-rimmed glasses and a bag from Japanese designer Limi Feu.
On the right is 20-year-old Mitsu. She’s wearing a blue Japanese school uniform-inspired top and skirt that are both handmade, along with ruffle socks and white creepers from Getta Grip. Her accessories include a handmade bag with a Japanese flag motiff, a large tassel necklace, and a corset belt. She said that some of her accessories were purchased in the Nippori area of Tokyo.
Mitsu’s favorite band is Plastic Tree. If you’d like to know more about her, check out her official blog.
