Kimono-Inspired Dress & Takuya Angel Kimono-Skirt in Harajuku
We met this darkly-styled Japanese guy and girl on the street in Harajuku. Their gothic-vs-traditional looks caught our eye.
On the left is Kenta Ashi, a graphic designer. He’s wearing a long jacket from Luv Maison over a white top from Custom Culture, a long skirt (appears to be made out of a vintage kimono) with colorful traditional artwork from Takuya Angel, and pointy dress shoes. His accessories include a skull ring and several other rings, at least one of which came from Lemon Tree. Kenta told us that his favorite bands include Dir en Grey, Loveless, and Omega Lithium. If you’d like to know more about him or his artwork, please check out Kenta’s Blog.
On the right is 22-year-old Kahori. She’s wearing a kimono-inspired dress with an obi belt tied into a bow in the back and black heels. Her accessories include several beaded bracelets. Kahori didn’t share any brand info with us, but you can find out more about her by checking out her blog.
