Leather Jacket, Long Skirt, Serge Thoraval & Kawa-Kawa Bag in Harajuku

Here’s Ayano, a cutely dressed 20-year-old Japanese student who we met in Harajuku.

Ayano is wearing a black leather jacket from Journal Standard over a red and blue lace-trimmed skirt that she picked up resale, black stockings, white socks, and Dr. Martens. Her accessories include a beret, a knit muffler, and a chain bracelet with charms from Serge Thoraval. Her black leather purse is by the Japanese brand kawa-kawa, who are known for the extremely large zippers that they incorporate into many of their bags.

Ayano told us that her favorite places to shop include American Apparel and various Tokyo used/resale stores. Her favorite singer is Michael Jackson.
