Maro Broken Doll in Harajuku w/ CD Hoodie & Shredded Bag

Here’s Maro! Maro is an artist, indie fashion designer, Harajuku Fashion Walk participant, the drummer for the Japanese rock band Broken Doll, and a good friend of TokyoFashion.com. We were really happy when we bumped into him randomly in Harajuku.

Maro’s outfit here features all handmade/Broken Doll items, including a red hoodie decorated with CDs (each with a hand written message), shredded shorts, and colorful one-of-a-kind shoes (one with googly eyes). His accessories include a shredded backpack from Broken Doll and a handmade scarf decorated with more CDs. Maro believes that Japan could use a bit more anarchy, and some of the messages written on his CDs allude to that.
