Raf Simons Knit, Moschino & Dog Harajuku Platform Shoes in Shinjuku

This is Kei, a 22-year-old specialty school student who we met in Shinjuku. His tall platform shoes were the first thing that caught our attention, but the entire look is stand-out.

Kei is wearing a long knit top from the legendary Raf Simons with graphic Moschino skinny pants (or leggings) and platform shoes from Dog Harajuku. The shoes look like they were originally by Y3 (Yohji), but Dog is known for deconstructing, reconstructing, and remaking, so they are likely heavily customized. Accessories – some of which were purchase resale – include glasses, an earring, a ring, and a canvas bag (which he received as a gift).

When we asked him about music, Kei said that he’s a fan of Shiina Ringo’s band Tokyo Incidents.
