Tokyo Bopper & Jane Marple Street Style in Harajuku
Meet Nishi and Aki, two stylish Japanese girls we photographed in Harajuku.
You might recognize Nishi – standing on the left – from our previous snaps of her! On this day, Nishi was wearing tops and bottoms from the fashion brand Monomania (her favorite brand) and platform shoes from Tokyo Bopper (don’t miss their cute shop on Cat Street if you come to Tokyo). Her accessories include that funky-fantastic handbag adorned with gloves from Romantic Standard, large glasses, red and black tights, a Vivienne Westwood belt, a spiked bracelet, and a cool necklace from Monomania.
Her friend Aki – on the right – is wearing a black dress that she made herself along with polka-dot socks and gold Emily Temple Cute flats with large bows on them. Her accessories include a handbag from Emily Temple Cute, a ring and butterfly necklace from Jane Marple, and a handmade watch from COTA. Aki’s favorite fashion brand is Jane Marple. As far as music, both of the girls told us that they listen to the Japanese band Plastic Tree and Nishi said that she also likes KPop.

Note: This update is from a series of street snaps that were taken in the summer for a print magazine. The magazine didn’t need all of the photos, so we are running the remaining snaps here on Tokyo Fashion. Some of the styles may be more Summer than Fall, but they have never been seen before and we didn’t want them to go unpublished.
