fanciful outfit she has going on there and i especially like the hat, but i don’t see the aesthetic behind hanging a dead fox around your neck- not that i’m vegan or vegetarian or whatever, it just looks kinda gross and creepy.

You don’t have to be a vegetarian to understand that it’s wrong to kill animals just for the fur. Sorry, but Japan is way behind on that one. Same thing with the killing of whales and dolphins.

I really like vintage fur. I buy it alot. He got it from a resale store, it’s probably vintage. Vintage fur isn’t murder it’s proudly wearing something that has a history and not wasting it just because people have become more aware that cruelty to animals is wrong more recently.
I really love his sweater, it’s adorable and his hairstyle is just too cute. And the hat with that fox scarf is a brilliant combination!
in all honesty i think she looks ridiculous. there’s a fine line with fashion and its easy to fall off. the sweater looks like a Vivienne Westwood pirate print hoodie but i honestly think there’s a bit too much going on here.

I understand where some of you are coming from with the issue of the fur..But you have to realize that some cultures view things differently than others do. Just because the morality doesn’t align with your western view doesn’t mean they are “behind.” I know so many Americans that consider asian countries behind due to them being more conservative or different on some moral issues. I think that’s just a bit ignorant to think that we have it so figured out in the west, and to go as far as saying they’re not as up with it.

Thank you for pointing that out.I’m sick and tired of people commenting on pictures that the outfit would be so much better if they didn’t have the fur stole. They don’t even make fur stoles like that anymore that I know of, 9/10 times for it to be affordable it’s from a vintage re-sale shop. These are crazy old, it’s like wearing a piece of history that some fancy lady from the 1800’s probably wore. I’ve worn one before, it was my great great great grandmothers and holy eff they are so warm and toasty.
And to everyone saying just wear faux fur, do you realize a lot of fake fur is turning out to be cat and dog fur? especially if it’s from China?
