Harajuku Fashion Walk #15 – Kawaii Street Style Pictures & Video

Harajuku Fashion Walk #15 was held in Harajuku last weekend! We’ve been covering it since the very first Harajuku Fashion Walk in 2010, so it’s amazing for us to think that this was the 15th edition of the walk. Colorful Tokyoites joined forces with international participants, using the power of fashion to brighten up the streets of Harajuku.

Harajuku Fashion Walk’s goal is to create a supportive fun event for people into alternative Japanese street fashion. If you’d like to know more about the history of the event and it’s organizers, check out our Harajuku Fashion Walk Documentary on YouTube.

The 15th Harajuku Fashion Walk featured lots of different styles – from colorful decora and fairy kei to darker gothic and lolita looks to subculture styles like shironuri. Rather than try to describe all of the different looks on display, just check out the pictures and video below for yourself. Enjoy Harajuku Fashion Walk #15 and also check out our street snaps from the event!

  1. That guy on the guy left at the 18th picture.
    He’s so handsome! * 7*

  2. I’m sure in 15-023 and 15-024, you’ve captured Yura and that pretty blonde girl who are in ‘Cool Japan’ sometimes…??? Maybe there’ll be an episode on Harajuku soon

  3. Oh I fell in love with the girl with the “secret number” cap, so beautiful!! *-*

And I wonder if shironuri makeup will become a trend? Minori is so cool!

  4. that girl with long gray wig and red glasses is SOOO handsome!!!!!

This was amazing. I wish I was there. I’m really glad to see other races represented and so many styles too. As an African-American who’s obsessed with Japanese fashion I was very glad to see the black lolita girl with the pink wig. She made me feel like I’m not alone in my admiration for Japanese style.

  6. Mai Midgard

    Wonderful!!! I llove it!
    Beautiful outfits… Amazing!♥

  7. I see some cute mokomoko frog and bunny bags from Daiso! I keep seeing them there but I never know if I should get them ><
I like Pinkysaurus and Lisa 13 a lot here!

  8. I’m in love with the vampire girl!!! *O* She was the great discovery for me in this edition of the HFW.

And Lisa totally looked like a queen in her red coat <333

And, of course, there was Minori and a lot of other cool familiar faces whose names I don't know yet :P They were all awesome.

I still find it incredible how great gothic and steampunk outfits looked mixed with the most colorful Harajuku styles.

    HFW rules!!!
