Boom Boom Satellites 2010 US Tour Dates

Boom Boom Satellites are coming to America! One of Japan’s coolest live bands have announced a fall 2010 tour that will see them hitting clubs on both coasts, and playing with other awesome bands as well. (Gary Numan, anyone?) We don’t cover too much music, but as Boom Boom Satellites are a favorite of several TokyoFashion.com contributors, we wanted to share this tour news with our friends in the US.

The brainchild of bassist/programmer Masayuki Nakano and guitarist/vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima, Boom Boom Satellites have been cranking out their own original blend of guitars rock/punk and electro/dance music for over ten years. Their sound is hard to describe, but NME once tried by saying they are, “like The Prodigy fighting Underworld with bloody big sticks.” Their best-of album Over and Over was released this week on iTunes, but you really have to see a live show to understand and appreciate Boom Boom Satellites.
