Gut’s Dynamite Cabarets 2011 S/S Collection
The 11th Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo is happening! Several times each day, TokyoFashion.com’s contributors are reporting back from runway shows all over town. We’ll be posting pics and updates from the events and shows as we receive them, so keep checking back for more JFW fun and fashion.
On Tuesday, October 19th, Japanese label Gut’s Dynamite Cabarets showcased their 2011 Spring/Summer collection on the runway at roomsLINK in Harajuku. The show featured wearable pieces for both men and women with a lot of patterns throughout.
Gut’s Dynamite Cabarets was founded in 2006 by two very charismatic guys – Cabaret Aki and Jackal Kuzu. Both born in 1974, the young designer pair first participated in Tokyo Fashion Week in 2006 and have been active every season since. Their style in both their menswear and womenswear lines has been characterized by vivid colors and bold patterns, including animal prints, brilliant reds, and polkadots.
