Reebok Freestyle Sneakers at ABC Mart Shibuya
Walking on center street today in Shibuya, I noticed that ABC Mart is really hyping the Reebok Freestyle sneaker collection. Reebok did some kind of cross promotion or collaboration between Tokyo Girls Collection and the Reebok Freestyle series, so I guess that’s why they’re so hype right now.
The promotion is pretty cute, with brightly covered signs showing different Japanese girls as different types of fashion styles. There is the Disco Japanese girl, the Rock Japanese girl, and the Girlie Japanese girl – all wearing Reebok, of course.
The shoes in the current Freestyle collection are, for the most part, pretty bright and striped and patterned. They look like a collection that would be hyped in Nylon Mag.
Maybe later I’ll try to get some pics directly at one of the ABC Mart stores. Some of the stores are cool with photos, but some of them are against it, so we’ll see.
